February is WMU Focus Month, with the week of February 7 – 14 designated as WMU NC Heck-Jones Offering and Week of Prayer. Each Sunday in February, the morning service will include a Missions Moment with a WMU member highlighting some of our state and community projects. Our church goal for the Heck-Jones offering is $3,000.00. A special envelope is provided in each member’s quarterly packet of envelopes. Please help us reach – and exceed – our goal!!
The January Soup Ministry was a blessing, not only to those who were served, but also to those who prepared and delivered the meals of soup, sandwich, and oatmeal cake. 72 meals were served: 36 to Madison House residents, 29 to sick and/or shut-in FBC members, and 7 to FBC staff and WMU members. The Soup Ministry is truly a labor of love!!
Thank you for supporting the Global Missions and Lottie Moon Christmas offerings. We collected $6,545.00 for Global Missions (Goal $4,500), and $1,505.90 for Lottie Moon (Goal $2,000).
