412 N Madison Street, Whiteville, NC 28472

We all were new, at one time, and we remember what it’s like. So we’ve provided the information below, knowing that a new venture is easier when you know what to expect.

What should I wear?
You will find a variety of outfits from khaki’s and polo’s to suits and dresses. Please dress in whatever makes you feel comfortable for engaging in genuine worship and community. You will not be judged.

Where should I park?
We have two parking lots. One directly behind the Office building off Church Street, and a grass lot on the other side of Church Street. You are welcome to park in either of these parking lots.

What door should I enter?
If you’re attending Sunday School, you’ll enter the side door off of Church Street, into the Education wing of the building. A Sunday School greeter will be there to welcome you and make sure you know how to get to your class.
For the 11:00 a.m. service, you can enter through the main doors off of Madison Street. Ushers will be there to welcome you and provide you with a bulletin for the service.

Will I be singled out as a guest?
No. We do not publicly call attention to our guests. Our greeters will welcome you when you enter the building and other church members will warmly welcome you after the service on an individual basis.

Is childcare provided during the service?
A nursery is provided for infants-3 years old during Sunday School and the 11:00 a.m. service. Children ages 4-7 are welcome to join us during the service, participate in our Children’s Sermon, and then will have the opportunity to attend Children’s Church or they can sit with their parents. We want our children to feel loved and as active participants in our service.

What is Worship like on Sundays?
We are committed to thoughtful worship that generally follows the seasons of the Christian year. Our services include an organ or piano and a choir. Our different elements of worship (music, readings, children’s sermon, etc.) will follow a scriptural theme and be woven together throughout the service.
