It’s November already, and the long holiday season of Homecoming, Thanksgiving and Christmas begins! As we reflect on the blessings we have enjoyed through the years and prepare our hearts and homes for the festive days ahead, I am reminded of the psalmist’s words in Psalm 100 which begins, “Make a joyful noise unto the Lord, all ye lands.” I hope that you will read and reflect on this psalm throughout the month of November. “Count your blessings; name them one by one, and it will surprise you what the Lord has done!”
The WMU will collect items for Families First this month, and we encourage the church family to join us! There will be a basket in the foyer, or you may place your items on the Missions Table in the fellowship hall. Useful items include cleaning supplies, facial and bathroom tissues, paper towels, facial masks, hand sanitizer, etc.
2021-22 Watchword: But we do not belong to those who shrink back and are destroyed, but to those who have faith and are saved. Hebrews 10:39
